The Lord's Purpose

Hello everyone, how are we all doing today? So I was reading the scriptures a few days ago when a few verses from this scripture below began speaking to me and I decided to share it with you all. I hope it blesses you.
Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, they gathered together before Aaron and said to him, “Come, make us a god who will go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up from the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”
How many times have you found yourself in some difficult situation and have had to question the reality of God? How many times in the absence of your pastor or some great men and women of God you respect have you had to question if this God you claim to worship does exist?
Is your service to God base on what you've been told about God or Is your service to God base on what you stand to gain?aaa
Brethren... Having the knowledge of who God is, is the only way we can love him. Our knowledge of God should not only be based on what we are taught in church but also by seeking him personally.
God speaks to anyone and everyone who would avail themselves and respond to his call. God wants to have a relationship with you, (Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Revelation 3:20 NKJV).
He created you for his pleasure(Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:11 KJV)
He had a purpose in mind for you(Many plans are in a man’s mind, But it is the Lord ’ s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out).
If the children of Israel had sought God, if they had desired to know him more, they won't have requested for another God when Moses delayed at the mountain rather they asked Aaron to make them another God because they had no idea what had become of Moses. Their loyalty was to Moses not God and as soon as Moses was no where to be found they diverted their attention. The children of Israel had quickly forgotten how they were delivered from Egypt after many years of slavery. They had quickly forgotten how God led them out of the land of Egypt by his great and mighty hand. They had forgotten the pillar of cloud that led they by day and gave light to them by night. They had forgotten all about the red sea and how the Egyptians were utterly destroyed.
God had done this great deeds through his servant Moses, and at the first sign of Delay the people turned their attention to other things.
This is the case of many Christians today... At the first sign of delay, at the first sign of a challenge we are already asking where is our God. Some of us will start running from one man of God to another, from church to church, from one prayer house to another. We have totally forgotten how God has brought us from where we were to where we are today. We totally forget the battles he had fought for us in the past. We bury the songs of praise we sang yesterday and start murmuring and grumbling.
In life there would always be delays... Delay in admission into the university, delay in graduating from school, delay in landing that dream job, delay in starting up that business, delay in marriage or delay in even conception. As long as there is life you must experience delay at one point or the other... When you get to that point in your life what will be your reaction? Who will you turn to?

Your knowledge of who God is is very important. It's how much of God you know and how much of him you have on the inside through your study of the scriptures and time spent with him in your secret place that will determine your response/reaction when delay, trials and temptation of life sets in.

Before you were conceived in your mother's womb, he knew you. He called you by name and you are his.

His thoughts for you are thoughts of good and not of evil that he might give you and expected end. And because he has a purpose in mind for you, you need to trust him even in the midst of that delay, in the midst of that hopeless situation you need to hold on to his word because we serve a God who is never late but always on time.
